"I am a woman in process. I'm just trying like everybody else. I try to take every conflict, every experience, and learn from it. Life is never dull." Oprah Winfrey

My Daddy Burned $
Maybe that's where i get my hunger from. Growing up I never knew the value of a dollar. Call me spoiled or whatever you may but that's how "Daddy's Lil Girl" was raised. I got what I wanted when I wanted it. Watching as he peeled green from stackZ handed me a few and then placing it back in the money clip. Everytime I watch American Gangster the Movie, I get Flash Backs of spending the weekends in Harlem with "Uncle Joe Joe" and wondering when my daddy would return. I do know that wherever my dad was he was working hard because when he came to pick me up Sunday's after church he usually looked like he hadn't slept the entire weekend. Sunday eve is when we would arrive in Jersey right before it was time for my bath. It was routine and my mom never debated it.
